Faktuur is a small product made by a small team that got tired of seeing South African service businesses spend their evenings retyping the same line items into Excel.
Why Faktuur exists
Most of the quoting tools on the market are aimed at agencies and consultants who bill in clean monthly retainers. They're a bad fit for the way trades and builders actually work: a brief over the phone, a site walk-through with the customer, a written quote that turns into the contract, milestone payments, a final invoice.
Faktuur is shaped around that real flow. The AI does what we wish Excel did (turn a brief into priced subtasks). The proposal is what we wish PDF quotes were (a web page customers can accept in one tap). And the invoice does what we wish QuickBooks did out of the box for South Africa (ZAR, 15% VAT, banking details rendered cleanly, a Paystack pay-link that goes straight to your account).
